My boys <3

I have always had more roo's than hens, which is horrible I know but the hens don't show any signs of being overbred because they have a good amount of space, as well as some of them are wimpy ones like Lodovico that wouldn't hurt a fly.

I am working on improving the ratio though by rehoming a few of the roo's before I get too attached, which luckily I succeeded at with my little Sumatra mixes that are going to their home together tomorrow, but not so much with a tiny Phoenix cross roo named Moe

I have a feeling he isn't going anywhere.

I have 11 roo's. I also favor them over the girls. They are just too funny. I see you are also in upstate NY. If you are close enough maybe you want a young Sumatra Roo for your flock? I have one indoors now with a sore foot. Nursing him as the others were beating him up.

I have to admit, ive always had a soft spot for the Phoenixes. They were my first birds, and i loved the coloring, but MAN that rooster was mean

Now i have silkies, but do plan on getting phoenixes again one day!

Haha, and I would love to have some pure Silkies again someday, so we're flip-flopped!
