BYC Café

Good evening cafe! Just finished my second cup of coffee for the day - there's extra if any of you want. It's been a busy few weeks, both on my end and catching up with reading some of the messages here.

I missed the northern lights as we were socked in with thick clouds both evenings. But I did see some lovely Pacific white-sided dolphins, which has made up for it a little.

It's dark and rainy here now. Missing the longer days. They'll be back before you know it though. Dogs are doing well. The marine life along the coast is quieting down a little as the humpbacks leave for Hawaii and Mexico. And I'm looking forward to becoming an aunt in January!

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

I stopped using my gym when I started getting going on home projects again. I resumed using it 2 days ago. I am ridiculously, walking like my feet are tied together, sore.

It even hurts to wash my hands. Hello pecs. How have you been? Not good I think.

Raking leaves is what is making me sore, especially my right elbow. Sometimes, the pain doesn't show up the next day, and I think, Oh, yeah, I got this! Then the day after that, wham!

So, when you get older, pain slows down in catching up with you, but then lands like a brick. Whump!

Isn`t that the truth! It`s a whole new ballgame with new rules that I don`t care for! 😂

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee.

"Use it or lose it" becomes "use it and pay the price."

Truth. Slow and steady - I can get the job done. Year by year the price becomes higher.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! I drank more than a little bit of coffee yesterday so I am sticking with 1 big cup today.
I am over being sore from the weekend except for the bruise area.
DL, I am trying to think when the oldies were hatched here. It was after a bobcat attack...2 of the hens still alive were part of the 3 that raised the chick together, then I have Hop-A-Long, who was born crippled with that crew.
At least 10 yrs and I am guessing more, but prob not 15.
Enjoy the day, Cafe!
