My brain is fried lol

NFC has given you the 1rst piece of sound advise. We all come from different parts of the world and what works there may not work here but there are universal practices everywhere. Go to poultry shows and talk to people They love to talk chickens and are willing to share their practices and you see live birds up close so you can really bogle your mind with what breeds you want. My advise, watch and observe your birds they'll let you know what;s going on.

Welcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page. This way I can read how I may have a similar question or help give some advice.

Just joined this morning and I have 6-3 wk old chicks. 3 black and 3 Rhode Island reds. Been reading beginner chicken books for 3 wk now and there’s so much to know!! We named them Zen, penguin, Leah, nugget, Henrietta and ducky. Living in central Arizona. I’m a nature and animal lover and just looking for people who are going thru the new chicken experience and those veterans who know it all!
Welcome to BYC!!
