My incubator arrived! I wasn't even expecting it because the site never had tracking info - I expected they wouldn't send it until after the holidays!
I had to fix the thermometer because the mercury (or alcohol or whatever they put in them these days) had split in transit.
I had to remove the thermometer, and hold it in near-boiling water until the two pieces merged, then put it back in.
It's currently plugged in to test temperatures, and I'm bubbling over with excitement and running around smiling like a lunatic.
I can hardly wait for the holidays to be over so I can order some coturnix eggs to hatch!
