my 3×3 brooder. Use 12ft piece of shelving board 12inch wide an roll of hardware cloth. Built in 30 minutes. Wire top an bottom. Put newspapers under bottom for litter. Rarely lose any chicks usually 99.9% success rate. Raising these buff orps ordered 15 got 16 all doing well nearly 3 weeks old now. Im building them a very nice chicken coop with run will post pics soon. Super nice coop.
