I just put a 2"x2" board in there to start, now I've added some wood to the sides with screws to raise it up a bit. They love it!

We took a two by four piece of untreated wood and cut it into a L shape. They are still using it 8 weeks later.

My chicks are being shipping from the hatchery tomorrow.

I live 1,044 miles away from the hatchery, so how long do you think it will take them to get here?

I don't have any experience with having chicks shipped. Sorry. I drove to our local hatchery it's an hour away. Good luck! I hope they arrive fast and healthy
