My broody coturnix quail hatched her own eggs!!

So a month ago I posted that my Coturnix quail has gone broody, I at first did not believe it but she seemed dedicated to it so I gave her some fertile eggs to sit on that I got from a local source. Fast forward 18 days and I have some new babies!! I honestly could not believe that a coturnix quail that I own would have gone broody as I've read many, many times that they do not go broody. Awww, congratulations! That's adorable! Just keep an eye on her as another member has a coturnix who has hatched her own eggs at least twice I think but she loses interest in the babies quite quickly. Hopefully your clever girl will do well with her little ones.
