I am SO proud of my girls. Madonna went broody (my first broody ever!!) about 2 weeks ago and my other Silkie, Isabelle, decided to go broody as well two days ago! Madonna was sitting on 4 eggs but when I candled them last night only 2 were growing so I took the two duds away. Isabelle was sitting on one egg but I didn't think it was growing since it got cold a couple times, so I took that away and replaced it with 5 fertile (hopefully) eggs that I collected yesterday. *fingers crossed* that they do their job well and are rewarded with cute fluffy babies!!
