My brother is leaving for Iraq....

These kids are just amazing. My thoughts, prayers, and admirations go out to him.

Lots of prayers, loves, and hugs to your family. My DH just left for MOB training to go to Iraq as well. You have a good looking soldier and we are proud to have him protecting our nation. Thank you.

It's people like your brother that actually make the world go 'round . Thanks to your brother , for all he is fighting for . Thanks to you for showing everyone that each soldier has a face . He made his choice that he obviously takes to heart . Some would argue that we should'nt be there , but it is his honor and duty TO be there . I myself am on the fence , as I think alot of folks are . It's just nice to know that people like your brother are willing to accept the responsibility to take it one step further . He's not in it to win a war .....he's in it because he loves his country . I think if more people stood up for what they believed in , this country would be alot better off . Too many people act like cattle herded to the feed trough . They think "just do as your told and we'll decide what's good for you ." Thank you again for posting !!!! I know I am very fortunate for the rights I still have because of people like your brother !

God bless your brother and your family.I have a friend whose son is in Afghanistan in the mountains and her daughter is being deployed to Iraq next week, May God keep by your side and hold you all in the palm of His Hand. I say" hey Alex "at Christmas, He's on a Leave to see his Mom, And when I leave "Hey Alex watch your back and be ever vigilent okay? See ya next time. A Hug, Thankyou to all our women and men over there in that country of miserable weather. With customs that are very hard to learn and agree with but we show no disrespect, God Bless all of you.

My prayers are for his safe return. Many thanks to him for his service and to you and your family for the sacrifices you are making. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

It's just heartbreaking that our world is in such a chaotic state that young men with peach fuzz on their faces have to go into battle and risk their lives for principles and beliefs and freedoms. Don't mean to sound trite like a beauty contestant, but I whole-heartedly wish for world peace. I pray for your brother's safety and Okie's son and the two boys that my daughter finished high school with two years ago and every other son, brother, husband, father, daughter, wife or sister overseas in this confusing war. God please keep these kids safe and bring them back the USA safely and undamaged mentally or physically.

Wow! I just think it is amazing the dedication these men and women have for their country. Going to such a dangerous place once or even more than once is something that I do not think I could ever do.

Tell him thank you and to keep safe! He doesn't have to risk his life to be a hero! He already is one!
