Hi everyone,
im new to the whole fun world of hatching my own eggs, but am lucky enought to have a friend who's whole life is chickens Silkies and Golden & Silver Sebright mainly as she has very successful show stock, due to me being very ill befor and after the birth of my beautiful daughter i have found i have too much time on my hands going from working 48-50 hours a week to being at home all day is rather dull so to keep my spirits up her and her family decided along with my american friend a major fan of geese that i needed something to do with my time and to keep me from going mad so we set about making a cheep yet fully working incubator and other items i would need for the my great project so i would like to show you all the fruits of our labour and see what you think as im very proud and so happy with what we have achieved yet all criticism excepted in good heart.

has just been to see a man who breeds quail and am now seeing what people mean by becoming obsessed he has had to move 3 times and everytime because of hi quail he has the biggest quail buisiness in the whole of the westmidlands and i made the stupid question os asking how many he had he just laughted at me and took me to his incubation roon hatchery room and broodery as he called it they the rooms where bigger than his own lounge where he had 18 incubators on the go each with around 250+ eggs in 7 of them they where all really posh and new this year he was using OVA-EASY 380 Advance EX then in his hatchery he had 4 sets he had taken out and put on lock down some pipping and others zipping i even got to see 12 hatch in the space of 2 mins then he took me to the broodery it was a barn! with 30 diffrent brooders of diffrent ages and stages i couldnt beleive it and he started off with 24 eggs from a local farm where only had a hatch of 4 but decided to sell his biusiness and start breeding full time.

Now thats what i call obsession
