My Budgie and I Need Your Help

Guys I’m sorry to say but Meep has passed today. I was taking home to his final vet appointment and he was breathing really heavily. They put him in oxygen and he just died. Thanks for all of your kind words. Meep is no longer suffering. He is in birdy heaven with all of his friends. I hear his mate calling to him as we speak. I am sending him to a lab to see if his sickness was contagious, as I have a conure, Africans grey, and his mate. We are hoping that it was contagious, but his mate isn’t showing anything but aggressiveness (she is probably mourning.) Thanks for all of your help through these tough times.

So sorry for your loss! I hope Meeps mate adjusts to the loss,it can be so hard for them,too. Best of luck with your other birds. Conures and African grays are great birds,I had a Green Cheeked Amazon. Parrots have such great characters. Hope all your feathered friends are ok.

Hey guys here is an update: To ship Meep to the lab to get him checked out would cost me 800+ US dollars and we really can’t afford it right now. None of my other animals are showing signs of illness and we are on the lookout. I appreciate all of the help you guys have given. There wasn’t much we could do.
