I hatched these guys from my BB roo and hen. The lacing pattern around their neck doesn't look quite right. Will It change as they get older? Here are some pictures. Sorry, not the best quality.

Namble Hi I'm south of you in Perry Are your buffs hatchery or breeder birds. I have some dark brahmas that I love and have been looking for some more lights and buffs. Micki

I am so glad you posted pictures!

I bought a Buff Brahma chick at a feed store (along with a bantam black cochin), and have been enjoying how s/he looks as she matures. About 6 wks old now, she was 3 wks or so old when I bought her.

I sure HOPE it's a pullet!

Umm, do Brahmas come in bantam sizes?

I believe they come in bantam sizes. I have a year old Buff Brahma rooster. He is the calmest rooster I have ever owned. I just addes a pair of Light Brahma's to the flock. Should be interesting with two Brahma roosters. All babies will have feathered legs.

Micki - My Buff Brahmas are not hatchery quality. I bought them from a lady who bought them from a breeder in Ga. I only have 1 roo and one hen, so their babies are all different ages. I have 9 so far.Do you have any Dark Brahma chicks or just mature hen and roosters? I love all Brahmas. Next week i'll be getting some Light Brahma hatching eggs from Fowlvisions poultry. I'll be putting those in the incubator with some of my own. She has some really nice Light Brahmas. Do you have any pics of your Dark Brahmas?

gryeyes - Your welcome! I know I love Brahmas! Buff Brahmas can be either stardard or bantams, although I like standard size Brahmas.
