My buff goose leg stretching behavior

Hello- I am the proud owner of two tufted buff geese since May 15th of this year. One of them, the male, keeps stretching his foot straight back, and I have heard that geese have foot problems. I don't know if this is normal behavior or not. If not, do you have any suggestions regarding the best course of action?

He seems healthy, is active and eating well. Stool seems OK too.

I don't think there is anything wrong with your geese. They are stretching the tendons and muscles of those fast growing legs as they carry more body weight. They grow so fast!

If your geese are mature, then it's just stretching.

Totally normal. All my geese have done it. It looks so gracious! I call it goose Tai Chi.

Yup, mine did the same thing. Goose Tai Chi, lol, I'll have to remember that.

I do too, even my Muscovy's get in on the yoga at times. Not as cool looking as geese though since their legs aren't as long
