Congrats to ya' Jody. Beautiful chicks. Can't wait to see what those Lester babies are going to look like.

I'm on day 18 for the buffs from you. I am looking forward to a batch of plump little gals to replace my existing flock next year.

Now for business LOL I want lavendar orps where do I find eggs for those LOL. I have to go to SC in the next month so will have to wait till I get back to fire up the bator but I would like any info on where to send for lavendar eggs. LOL

Thanks everybody! The babies are all doing well and I just moved the araucana and silkies from the other hatcher to the brooder. That is one full brooder now.

Jean - as far as I know, I don't know of anyone else working on lavender orps in the US, but I could be mistaken. We will not have eggs for quite a while until we establish the breed. We are providing updates on our web site (and here) for our progress and will get the word out once we have something to offer others. Thanks for asking.
