My Buff Orp lays long eggs

My banty lays long tiny white yolkless eggs once a week and my husband and I joke that they looks like supossitories!

I have four Buff Orps, and only one consistently lays torpedo eggs. I like them - they're different, and I like that whoever lays them is doing things her way. They make me smile.

I love them too, all my mis-shaped eggs make a great show and tell to my friends. I always tell chicken/egg stories, sometimes I know my friends get upset when thats all I want to talk about! They don't have chickens, but they want my eggs, so they have to hear a story! lol!

Does anyone else find thatt he pointiest tip of their skinny eggs has a lumpy swirely end?

Well I get those on regular shapped egges every now and then, my long skinny eggs are clean and smooth most of the time.

Suppositories! BA HAH AH!!! Made me laugh out loud! Torpedo eggs are the most fun; except when you have a chicken that lays JUMBO sized torpedo eggs; they don't even fit into the Jumbo egg cartons, as they are too tall; can't close the lid on them!
