My Buff orpingtons are like cats.......Normal?

My buffs are so funny the past few days i open the brooder...dog kennel crate, and they fight to jump on my lap to sit and be petted is this normal? They are so loving and once my wife or i start petting them they just sit there and soak it all up. 5 out of 6 that is. One of them can only sit still about 3 min then its up and down and looking around etc...

cute!! I have heard that buff orpingtons are just like this. very sweet birds. I got three because I thought they sounded like fun.

hi! Mine are two weeks and are just starting to want attention. Out of my 50 buffs, about 3 or 4 will peck at my feet, let me pick them up without struggling, and one or two will hop in my hand to be picked up and sit and roost on my legs. i'm glad you're having fun with them too!
