My Buffs

These are my 16 Buff Orpingtons, 14 females and 2 males. They are 11 days old, happy and healthy and I am so smitten!! I sit with them every morning, great way to start the day! This morning I noticed a few are getting their crowns, they look like they have little Mohawks. Giggle

They are adorable!!! Buff orpingtons are on my list of chicks I hope to own one day!

Adorable! I've enjoyed having chickens so much. I suffer from depression and b/c of the chicks I have been getting outside every single day. My mom and I went in on a hammock together so I pull their play pen up next to the hammock and we just chill lol

Sobbachicken, I have a brain injury due to a motorcycle/deer accident last June. My doctors encouraged this chicken adventure as it is fairly simple but requires a daily commitment, absolute best prescription I ever got!! We have lawn chairs set up around the brooder and it has been a very good bonding experience for my family, which my kids needed after almost losing their parents. The babies change every day and continually bring smiles with their antics. I think I am definitely a Buff addict...maybe I should try the Buff Orpington Ducks. Giggle
