It is busy but there is a nice flow to it.

I finished the quilting today and have the black binding pinned on. Will use my machine to sew it on, then fold over onto the back and hand stitch it. Then into the washer it goes to see if the markings, which have now been on for years, will come out.

I really like the variety of block patterns as well as the variety in the colors.
Nice quilt!!
And even with a nice sewing machine, I find I enjoy doing some hand-quilting once in a while.
Hopefully the arthritis will not be a big problem for you.

I think that the machine will be great for piecing and save my hands for what I like best, the quilting part. I actually prefer the look of hand quilting over machine quilting, though doing it by machine is certainly aLOT faster! Because of the new machine, I'm actually thinking of starting a quilt for our bed that I will save till I no longer have a dog around here to shed hair all over.
