They do all look like cinnamons, though the male is probably cinnamon redbreasted. I don't think normal cinnamons have the masks? Idk, all my cinnamons are cinnamon blue face

Oh btw Fudgie, I have gotten 7 eggs each day (today and yesterday). I don't think macnugget wanted his until later this week, so I should be able to send yours out tomorrow

Let me double check with macnugget first though.

COOLNESS Shelley, just let me know so I can alert the Post office. I will be gone Saturday so if they come in, they will need to call my Mother-in-law to go pick them up. NOT a problem at all! WOO HOO and stonebridge - the buttons LOVE the coco hut too! I figure why let it go to waste! They are having a ball in it, have it filled with shavings now all they gotta do is start nesting and getting a bunch of eggs in there. when do they actually start laying do you know?

They can start laying around 6 weeks, but I would say not to hold your breath. Most seem to wait until they are closer to 9 or 10 weeks old.

I still haven't gotten a response from macnugget, so I'll have to let you know....

Coturnix start laying around 6-8 weeks old normally (as long as under 14 hours of light daily).

Buttons, can lay as early as 6 weeks however most say they lay several weeks later.
