My button quail are talking to me! WOOHOO

In my observation my Buttons that I put in as pairs lay at 7 to 8 weeks. My Buttons that are in the "to sale" cage that holds ones hatched together that get along they don't lay until much later.

SOOOOO anyday then. The courtnix and the buttons are 7weeks old yesterday! The 3 buttons are in together and the 4 courtnix are in with the smaller chickens. they are all about the same size and someone said they were flighty but I can pet every one of them. NOW the buttons will set there and then try to fly off so we are pretty careful with them. The courtnix just sit there and really come running when they see me open the brooder box.

Coturnix are not flighty at all. Mine will still come peck my hand when I switch out their feeders! Buttons are a different story, though mine aren't as flighty as most, unless they get out of their cage. Then it is very hard to catch them!
