They are so adorable! I just may have to get some coturnix...

My buttons finally laid an egg today, and I am so happy because I take it to mean they are happy. I gathered it and then was sorry as I hadn't even given her a chance to sit on it. Well, with the next ones I will.

Dont feel to bad, not all buttons will sit. I just incubate my eggs to make sure there are no problems. Jenn

And yup Jenn is right not all button hens will set.. you might only get one to set once every blue moon and then sometimes not even that..lol

Thats why most people just collect the eggs and incubate them in the bator

Thank you! So hens have lighter breast feathers? I'm probably counting my 'chickens' before they hatch... I have 65 jumbo golden eggs in my incubator due to hatch Oct. 12
