I tell ya, I am about to sell her now...lol She has been sitting on a nestfor a while now but I forgot to mark the calandar when she started. Yesterday evening I figured I would candle an egg to see about how much longer it has. I figured about a week or little less now. I went out this morning to check on everyone and there was the egg I candled shoved out of the nest. She wouldnt take it back since I had touched it.
Needless to say I brought it in and candled it again and I did see movement so it went into the bator to hatch with the rest of my egg hatching in the next few days. A while back when she was laying I had moved the nest back a little and the next day the eggs were every where but I thought it was the male and other hen that had scattered them, I guess she didnt want to sit on them since I had touched them. I was able to get 6 out of 8 of them to hatch a week about. Stupid duck!!!!
