...my rooster Carmine. Every chance she gets, she sneaks into the run, lays down in front of him and rolls over like she wants to play. She never wants to play!! She's actually quite sharp and dangerous most of the time, and hisses at the other kitties non-stop. Carmine seems to think that it's all in a days work. "Yes, yes ladies, I am the man."

That's funny! I have a tom cat that loves to lay by the run. When he and the girls were younger I had one that would come over and try to peck him through the fence. It got so that he would lay down and wait for her. She would start approaching and he would beat the living daylights out of the fence. Then he would lay back down and she would go about her merry way. I just loved to watch them.
