They are getting pretty close to that age methinks, I'll have to look at their actual paper work, but I think they are coming up to about 7 months old. I'm really dreading the actual breeding, as I've seen videos and I think Gizmo is going to be pretty upset about it. I actually didn't plan on breeding them when we bought them, we planned on having them fixed, but their personalties are AMAZING. And I'd like to make sure to continue it.

LOL! He does too! My husband has claimed Gizmo as his cat, and Epidermis has claimed me as his person, so there you are. I always get the trouble makers!​

My younger, very dominant and larger (neutered) male cat pestered my 2 year older spayed female and would get carried away with his rough housing. She couldn't put him in his place because he was very dominant and would meet her fire with even more fire of his own, to the point of injury. Usually cats can settle things safely between themselves but not always. I kept a close watch on them when they were in the same room together and didn't allow them to be alone.

I own and have bred Cornish Rex. Yes, their purrsonalities are fantastic. I hope you realize that Dermis will probably end up being crated for his life, unless you enjoy the smell of tom cat spray. He WILL be spraying your house, all toms do this. Many still do even after neutering (and having bred). Have you spoken to breeders of Rex? They do require extra care while kittening AND while taking care of the kittens. Extra heat, draft free is a no-brainer. Kittens should not have access to clumping litter as they will ingest it and clog up their intestines. Please talk to your breeders. Some of the Rex do not have compatible blood types, have you researched this. Please Google or talk to your breeder(s).
I know you love your cats, they are fabulous companions. Do you homework, research your pedigrees. Hope that you won't end up with problems, it can break your heart.
