I never would have even thought to give my chickens something like that. Nope just couldn't do it.....

I am seriously shocked that my cat could kill this thing....and eat as much as he did. If the head hadn't been right next to it i would have thought he got it out of a trap or something.

My cat will finish an entire rabbit before dawn, then come in for his full can of wet food mixed with dry. For an afternoon snack it is a few chipmunks or a couple of squirrels. If you have mice in your area, in your chicken area, then your birds have probably already treated themselves. I saw my little bantam girls fighting over a small snake a few days ago.
