My chick’s backside is blown up like a balloon…

Hello. I’m raising some meat chickens and I’ve noticed several chicks blown up like this. I’ve kept them in food and water but they were too hot today. Vent is clean and they don’t act very sick. Any idea what’s wrong and what I could do to fix it?

Could possibly be ascites or water belly? Speckledhen might know.... but I don't know how to tag them.

I think she has several with the same swelling.

I've never raised meat birds but ascites is common because they grow so quickly, it's a strain on the heart. That's all I know. I've only had laying hens with reproductive malfunctions bloat up, never chicks.
