I also lost one today... They where all good when I went to work, Came home to one laying down face first and the other ones jumping all over her...

Sorry to all who have lost baby chicks. It is always hard to loose a baby when you instantly become attached to them. So far I am very fortunate to have 6 healthy babies...fingers crossed !

To prevent pasting, if you use sugar in water, switch to clear karo syrup... Also, give them grit of some kind (sand, dirt, or chick grit). Also, I pull out the fluff that it is sticking to and apply vaseline to the vent area... I use the vaseline to brush the fluff away from the vent... I am sorry for your loss!
