Glad you had enough presence of mind to capture the moment on your camera! Yeah, I would have freaked myself and the moment would have been lost for all time.

Poor little chickie! Now s/he has to live that little scene down for the rest of it's life. I can just see the conversations around the roost now. "Hey Drama, remember that time when we were just 2 days old and you fainted about the new food dish?!?"

Wow!! SO glad you thought to get the camera! Who would ever have imagined the little sweetie lying there, legs up in the air, totally unconscious over the total joy (or fear) of a food bowl. Aren't chickens just the most amusing thing in the entire world?? Such fun. Thank you so much for posting!!

Cute but....keep on eye on him. Might've been from something else. Cute chicks, though. Our alpha rooster swoons and goes all limp when we have to catch him and pick him up; he just can't stand it. Takes him a few minutes to recover.

So has Drama fainted again? Is she still doing well? Have you thought about getting the camera ready and putting a REALLY big bowl in the pen? That photo with her feet up in the air and the other chicks looking puzzled is just hilarious.

LOL, DH walked up to a Robin perched on a fence and it fainted! The Robin didn't see DH until he was right upon it because of a tree in it's view.
