my chick hasnt' pooped in over a week and cant walk one chick died 3 days ago ive never had a chicken before so one day my fiancee comes home with a boy and a girl everything was fine they were eating well and pooping fine until out of nowhere the boy starts cunvulsing.,the first thing that came to my mind was that he had a heat storke because of the extreme hot weather that was goin on at the time anyways after that happened he diddnt walk anymore. then i noticed the girl lwas acting weird too but one day to the next my lil boy mumbo died, when i was looking for anything abnormal i noticed that there was no poop in their cage but they were both still eating like nothing was wrong now the girl is still alive but she has like cementish like crust covering her butt and she still keeps eating so what i did out of just desperation was i got a little bit of childrens laxative and with a very thin oxygen tube i suck it in her rear and squeezed i tiny bit in to see if it can lubricate. i worked when i startew to massage her abdomen then she squirted a bunch of watery poop mixed with big chunks in the mix also i noticed a gooey mucous and some phlemy white stuff once she had squirted out the two days worth of food. so thats what kinda has been working but now shes loosing her feathers and im scared shes nt gonna make it please help me out to see what i can do to save her

It's called pasty butt and chicks get it quite frequently. If you don't get that poop off with warm water the chick will die like the other one did. Usually the first few weeks of a chicks life is when they are most likely to get this. You can put some cooking oil or vasoline around their vent after you get the poop off so it will not stick there again.
