Why is he purple

Wondered about the purple myself and you need a heat plate or a warming pad with no shutoff .. make a tent
they can get under I am sorry you lost him did you dye the poor little guy ?

My little sister saw him on a local bazaar and she wanted to buy it when they were looking around with my mom. I've learned that people inject food colorant in chicken eggs even before they born.

That is an horrible thing, though. He was probably weaker compared to a natural-colored chick.

What should I do? I don't want it die

I think a heat lamp is needed. Thier enviroment has to be 95 degrees F. for the first week, and decrease by five degrees every week. This is an article about chick care.
