I ordered from Ideal,for the first time,22 Jan. All hatching eggs:

1doz Black Astrolorps
1doz Barred Rocks
delivery arrived on the 25thJan via USPS. What I received was:
2doz unlabeled eggs
1doz labeled "mixed"
after calling them up and explaining the problem,I was told that the owners would be notified,whatever that meant? A week went by,no reply from Ideal. Friday,01 FEB, I call and put in a voice mail inquiring about my order. Monday,04 FEB,call from Ideal,my corrected order will be shipped out Tuesday and arrive on Thursday,07 FEB, which proved to be true. I open the box and this is what was shipped:

6 ea Barred rock;even though carton was marked 1doz
6 ea "mixed"
after calling Ideal yet again and assuring them the veracity of my statement that the shipped order was filled incorrectly,I was told that the owners will be contacted. Again,I ponder and speculate...what does that mean?
I'm a farmer,therefore,I'm a businessman by default. I'd be quickly on the road to financial starvation if I allowed such piss-poor performance from my employees and abject apathy from the "owners" and obvious slovenly action to fill this simple order. My poultry flock,for this year is in excess of 500 birds and I wanted to add new blood to the gene pool or possibly ramping up the flock. Even though as a BYC member I can't,in all honesty,support this sponsor.
