It looks like your chick is backwards in the egg. With no air cell to maneuver in, that youngster will likely have a very difficult time breaking out. Keep an eye on the membrane to make sure it doesn't dry out. That becomes a deal-breaker for a weakening chick. You can moisten it with a faint mist of water, but be careful not to get anything inside the egg or you may drown your little one - it doesn't take much.
Many people are dead-set against assisting, but if the option is clearly a dead chick, I'll help out a bit. I'll remove any fully cracked pieces being held on by the membrane or the chick's wet feathers. The idea is not to fully open the egg, but to weaken the shell just enough for the chick to finish the job on its own. Go slowly; go gently and watch carefully for broken blood vessels.
