I'm so frustrated I find it odd that no one else has experienced this. It's ankles won't bend, so she can't walk on her feet. Everything I look up is about spraddle (not sure on spelling), but she was born this way. It seems like they all start this way but she has stayed with her feet out in front of her and she scoots which is making her hocks sore. I've been doing the glass treatment but it doesn't work if her ankle won't bend. Please anybody...input! Thanks

Have you been treating the chick with poultry vitamins in the water? Minerals would be good too, and are found in a few vitamins. There are many different leg and foot problems that can be hereditary, or caused by vitamin deficiencies or incubation problems. There are also diseases such as avian encephalomyelitis (AE) that can cause problems walking. Leg bone deformities are also common in chicks, and can get worse with age. Does it's toes curl under, or does she sit on her hocks? Pictures might help. You might try her in a chicken sling or chair until you have looked at all possibilties. You may have seen these links before, but just in case:
