My chick stopped hatching

When I woke up this morning one of the eggs in the incubator had a crack in it. I kept on checking on it for a while and I saw no progress. Is the chick still going to hatch. (heard chirping and felt movement yesterday)

Maybe.

Chicks can often take 48+ hours to hatch after pip.

However, if the the chicks is underformed, or has some other issues, it may not survive the hatching process. Being born is HARD.

right - let it be - they usually hatch the day after the first crack (pip)

dont rush it - there are a lot of processes that are taking place & they need time to complete or it could hurt the chick.
