my chick wont poo

i have been raring chicks for a few yrs now,i have this one chick that hatched also two weeks ago he seemed to be doin fine. when i got home from work on friday night i fed him and i noticed that he tried to poo he walked away and there was no poo on the floor i kno that no poo is blocking his bum because i always pick the poo off and there is no feathers on his bum for it to stick, its now sunday and he still hasnt pooped i picked him up to look at his bum and i saw that there was like a scab type of thing on him and it smells bad. please help me this hasnt happened to me before.

try putting the chick in a warm bath of water, I have never tried this myself and not sure if it will work, but have read a few times that this makes them poo so its worth giving a try?????

i tried bathing him with a warm damp cloth but ill give it a go thanks

Feed the chick some applesauce, it acts as a mild laxative in chickens.

thanks i had four n they died within a few hours if eachother he would have been two weeks tomorrow
