This morning I went out to feed and when I got to my 2 lonesome separated chickens (Sultan that got all her head feathers ripped off, and my semi naked frizzle) and found my little frizzle laying in one of the nest boxes barely alive. All she was doing was twitching and occasionally opening and closing her beak. I brought her in side and put her in a crate with a big heater on her then I had to go to school. When I got home she was standing
. She is still pretty weak though so for a week she will spend the nights in my room and I will bring her friend in as well. Then after the week is up I will bring them both into my Juvie coop one night so they can spend the night with the other 15 or so youngsters. I just hope the others don't rip out my Sultan's head feathers because they grew back on xtremely long stems... anyways what would be good to give her to help her recover that wont her hurt her buddy. Would Yogurt be appropriate for this or something else?
