My chicken ate my hairband!!! HELP

My rooster did the same thing when he was 6 months old (my little girl had left her hairband, which was also a solid, fabric one, without a metal connector) in the yard, and he devoured it. It took a while before it went down, and I chased him through the yard, trying to take it from him (no success...).
Well, he's still around 7 months later, so I think your hen will be fine

a chickens digestive juices are very strong. what ever goes in will decmpose.. we found a quarter in a chicken we were butchering. it was so decomposed that all that was left was just barely the face on the "heads" side.. all other printing and such were gone.. don't ask me how that chicken even swallowed it.. the second mystery is how it ever found money at our place
