Oh my gosh, that is a FANTASTIC cake ! ! A cake suitable for a new BYC moderator. All the other moderators spouses should be on alert now!

I dabble in decorated cut-out cookies, but have never done one as beautifully as your mom did those roosters.

Thanks, everyone! It was a surprise, actually. My dad said she worked on it every day after work for a couple of months.

She made a cake like that for my bridal shower, too... Not with the chickens LOL but with the Stargazers and baby's breath.

Oh, and my favorite martini is watermelon. I take donations.

Buff... I've put in a lot of martini research time, and in my professional opinion

, PINK or Svedka is the best vodka (although I will not turn my nose up to Grey Goose) and Stirrings makes the best mix.
