I had a hen who started falling backward or to the side while trying to run. She spent 5 weeks in a nest on the floor of the coop, and I had to feed her there twice a day. She could stand enough to move around in her nest to stay out of her droppings. Eventually she recovered and left the nest while living for about 1.5 more years acting normally. Since she was 8 years old and vaccinated for Mareks in a flock where there had never been Mareks, we were not sure what caused this. Vestibular disease is something that affects animals and balance, so that was a possibility. Glad that your chicken is doing better, and continuing a B complex vitamin for awhile longer would be benificial.
