Last year we opted for sod for the four breeding pens, which are 5'x10' each outside. $26 sodded them, another pen, and a couple of bare spots in our yard. It appears most of it's coming back. (If anyone wants to check into doing this, be sure to ask if there are any chemicals on it, and ensure there's no plastic or netting.)
