I love the rain barrel idea...of course, I would have to fill it with a hose because you have to get *rain* to fill a *rain* barrel. lol Still, it would keep them in water with fewer trips to the tap--and I bought those watering cups, can't wait to get them set up! DH found some gutter in the back of the property, so he's planning on using it on the coop we're *still* building--We're finally getting close, I keep reminding myself that every time I walk into my craft room that is now half an inch deep in baby chick dust. I cringe to think of the hours it's going to take me to clean that place.
