My Chicken has a hole in her chest!!!

My Rhode Island Red, Penny, has a hole in her chest. I just found her that way a couple of minutes ago. I just gave her a bath and used soap to disinfect the area. Do you know what this is? Is this parasites? Also, what should I put on her wound? Some cream?

Looks like an injury of some kind. If you have some plain neosporin (no pain killer) or triple antibiotic ointment you can put some of that on it. Make sure it doesn't become a pecking attraction, other chickens will often peck at wounds and cause more damage. If it's a pecking risk then crate her in a wire crate in the run with the rest of the chickens, that is usually less stressful for them. It doesn't look too bad, all things considered, and if it's kept clean and she's not pecked it should heal up well.
