My Chicken has a small puncture wound on earlope!!! HELP!!

My chicken got bit a day ago she bleed not a lot i put flour and she stopped. i also took away she slept for half the day. Today i tryed to take her away from the other 5 chickens but she wouldn't sleep so i had to put her back. i cant tell if she ate i know she drank and the other just leave her alone. Now she keeps closing her eyes and her tail is droppy. i didnt clean it because their chicken they had lived outside for years. She stays in the same spot for like 2 hours then moves a to a different spot.PLEASE HELP!!! CANT TELL IF INFECTION!!!!





I cleaned the wound later today!! I I used perioxd then some nesporian! They seem better already!! BUT STILL NEED PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep it clean like you are doing. If the area turns red or feels really warm thats a sign of an infection. I am used to treating horses, I have never had a hurt chicken. Let her rest. You can tell if she ate by feeling her crop. Keep a close eye on her, get some blue kote spray.(but keep it out of her eye) http://shilala.homestead.com/woundcare.html I found this and thought you would like to take a look. Clean the wound with saline one a day if you can. And you can also put so e Neosporin on it. If it is very warm or has discharge suspect infection. If you keep it clean she will be fine
