My chicken is a Rhode Island Red and it has already reached its laying stage. She stands around not moving as much only here and there, with her neck inwards. I thought it was constipation so I fed her molasses and water mixed together, I have been feeding her this for 4 day and I dont see any change. I need help

Can you tell if she is eggbound? Is she eating and drinking at all? Sounds like she has a lot of discomfort - as her neck is drawn in and she is reluctant(?) to move. A good photo might help diagnose her by her posture. Please post in detail on the "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures," thread. You could put "Eggbinding," in the search box and see what articles come up.

I hope your hen is okay and feels better soon!

Good advice above. Welcome to BYC, and good luck in resolving her problems.

Feel around her belly for a lump ...
Has she ever laid an egg to your knowledge ??????
If you have a holding cage with a nest so you can closely keep an eye on her and give her some time to herself ......

And this way you can measure her feed and water intake and if she is doing the poop thing ....

and you could also do what DD wrote X2 on that .......
