I don't think so. I know the SMZ is an antibiotic but I don't think the Baytril is.

It is...but it dosnt matter, aslong as butterfly is doing alright now!

Baytril is in the same family as human Cipro.

The vet gave a Baytril injection (powerful antibiotic), then sent the bird home with SMZ, right? They sometimes do this with cats and dogs.
