he's on anti b's and we let some air out last night but this morning he's reinflated. he doesnt look a appy chappy at all, puffed up in the QT room

i'm gonna give the anti b's a few days and try deflating him again this mornning...hope it works

well he's still a little swollen up but not half as bad as he was....should i continue with anti biotics or stop them now? hes been on them 10 days now...

Hard to say without really knowing the root cause of his issue, however due to the severity of his situation, I'd keep up the treatment for 14 days if it were my chicken.

Is that just on the breast? It could be a breast blister. I do believe you need to drain that......If it's air, you just puncture the skin, and it should deflate like a balloon would.......I think.....

Looking at that, my best guess would be a ruptured airsac.

Somebody here had a post about that in the last 6-8 months or so. Someone may have suggested carefully releasing the air but I don't recall the outcome. Do a search on that. Beautiful, gorgeous rooster.
