Can you not take him to a veterinarian? Or maybe call and ask if they have any idea what it might be, see if they can refer you somewhere?

the air has been released numerous times but by the next morning its reinflated..its not just on the breast its round his entire body (chest, under wings, back, bum, abdomen, neck) hence why he looks so round.
he eats and seems fine in himself, just has trouble getting round (chabos only have little legs, so with him being inflated his legs *just reach the floor) its comical but i feel for the little guy...
i'll carry on the anti b's for another few days.....

How old is your chick? Is she standing around with her feathers puffed up or is her body swollen?
