My chicken has got a swollen bright red lump on her chests..

Hi, My chicken has been pecking at her chest for a couple of weeks. We thought that my chicken could have mites or fleas. But then we noticed she had a big red lump on her chest with no feathers we soon realised that it looked quite serious. So would anyone have any ideas how we could cure our chicken ?? If you do please reply .. Thank you.

One of my hens also has this red bare spot on her chest. She seems OK otherwise—still laying and no sign of pain (although I've heard chickens tend to hide their pain). I also saw that it might be a problem with their crop—that it's not emptying well. In another website, someone recommended adding apple cider vinegar to water, which I have done, but the red spot persists.
