my chicken has one very swollen eye and cheek

We have been keeping an eye on Violet, and the swelling seems to have gone down. She still has a lump in her cheek I can feel, but it doesn't seem to be impairing anything so far. She is back with her flock, and seems to be doing alright. I am feeding them slightly fermented feed now, because it is easier for her to eat the mash, so she's been gaining weight back.

I'm glad to hear that she is doing a little better and has rejoined the flock. The swelling has going down some hasn't it! I can see her pretty eye

Thank you for the update. Do you still think it is a tumor? It sure has gone down a lot with antibiotics. That is good news.

We actually didn't start her on the antibiotic eye drops, since it didn't seem infected at the time. We have some on hand, in case it gets worse.
I'm not sure about the tumor; there is still a lump in her cheek, but maybe because it is on the outside it's shifted? We didn't have the vet send the sample in for pathology, since treatment would not have been different if cancer was confirmed.
