My chicken is acting strange. She is hiding in the coop, not eating treats with the other hens.

She is just about 1 year old and has been a good layer as well as very energetic until 2 days ago. No eggs from her for those 2 days and today she looks sick. Any suggestions as to the cause of her behavior and any suggestions regarding what I can do to help her?

There is a chance she is egg bound and it won't pass . Put "egg bound" in the search box and see if her symptoms are the same.

Thank you. It looks like she may be egg bound. I tried giving her a crushed Tums and she wouldn't touch it. A little vaseline on and slightly inside her vent. Just hope this helps.
